Space2 is a small but robust charity with a dynamic, pro-active staff team and a skilled and committed Board. We’re constantly seeking out new opportunities and responding to the challenges. And the current economic climate is indeed a challenge.
Space2 Consultancy provides advice to artists and third sector organisations looking to develop sustainable business practice, using our wealth of experience in arts engagement, planning and strategy. Keen to share our success, we use our expertise and experience to support other third sector and arts organisations through consultancy contracts.
Take a look at Space2’s Research page for information on some of the research, pilot studies and evaluations we’ve worked with a range of Universities and health partners on in recent years. Space2 is an experienced research partner, supporting communities to have their voice heard within research, helping researchers connect with relevant communities and individuals and engaging in studies that explore issues of community development, health inequalities and community arts practice.
Jobs and Vacancies
Space2 offer placement opportunities to school pupils aged 15 and over, students and local young people from time to time. These can range from a week’s work experience to a six month placement as part of a community work or arts qualification.
We work with freelance artists and community workers to enable us to deliver a large and diverse programme of activities. We are always looking for new skills and experiences to augment our already talented team. So if you’re interested in our work, passionate about the arts and committed to supporting communities and vulnerable individuals please email a brief CV and a bit of information about yourself to Dawn Fuller on email@example.com * Please note that due to the volume of messages we receive, we may not be able to respond to every email.
Volunteer Training and Development
Space2 trains and supports volunteers in a wide variety of roles. The volunteer programme brings together all the elements of the Five Ways To Wellbeing (Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give) to help develop confidence and resilience, employability skills and social connectivity. Email Sarah Tolkin: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Community Meet Up Group
We have a regular session for our volunteers and participants to meet together here at Space2 and discuss future ideas and projects. If you'd like to be involved email Emma Goodway: email@example.com
