Project Manager

The Role
A 2.5 days per week, 12-month fixed term role based at the Space2 offices with the following responsibilities:
Project Management
Reporting to the Co-Directors and responsible for a portfolio of projects you will be responsible for all the operational management aspects of project management and delivery, ensuring that projects and work-streams are delivered within the agreed requirements, embedding co-production principles and ensuring that reporting is gathered and completed on a timely basis.
Facilities Management
To be responsible for providing quality services, acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries, facilities and venue matters. Ensure all visitors and enquiries are dealt with effectively in a welcoming and efficient way. Maintain the booking system for hire of the Old Workshop and act as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive experience for visitors. Liase with third party cleaning services to ensure Space2 facilities are cleaned and maintained appropriately. Ensure that appropriate and effective systems are implemented to handle telephone calls and receive visitors. Ensure that Space2 has appropriate supplies of cleaning materials and stationery. To be the first point of contact and liaison with the IT Support Provider. Work in conjunction and liaise with the IT Support Provider to ensure that Space2 has secure and robust IT services
Systems review and development:
Review and refine existing project management systems and procedures to simplify processes, improve productivity and increase organisational capacity.
About You
We are looking for an experienced project manager, who is versatile, highly organised, positive and motivated. You should possess strong organisational, communication and leadership skills. You will be values driven, work as part of a team, committed to social change and believe in the arts as a vehicle for change. You will need plenty of initiative and drive, have good communication skills, able to operate under pressure, prioritise, and have experience of developing relationships with individuals and organisations. Experience of using database systems and Microsoft computer programmes.
