Cllr Mohammed Shahzad

I am a new board member of Space 2. I had very little knowledge of what Space 2 did but knew it existed. Once I decided to become a board member I learned more from Dawn about Space 2. I learnt how Space 2 helps communities to bond together and use art to allow them to express themselves and gives individuals confidence to create art in many forms.

I was born and raised in Leeds and realise how third sector organisations such as Space 2 can play a pivotal part in helping communities and individuals to find a safe place to flourish.
