Step-Free Access 

• The building has level access throughout – no steps at any entrance or inside. 

• The main entrance features a slightly inclined ramp with a smooth, non-slip surface for ease of entry. 

• Power-assisted doors to enter and exit ensure comfortable access for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. 

Parking for Badge Holders 

• Dedicated accessible parking bays are available on-site, close to the main entrance. There are 2 spaces at the back of the fire station near our building, and 2 on each side of the front of The Old Fire Station as you go round the one-way system.  

• These spaces are clearly marked and free to use with a valid Blue Badge. 

Accessible Restroom 

• We provide a clean, fully accessible toilet with space for a carer if needed. 

• The facility includes multiple handrails, lowered sink, emergency assistance alarms, and clear signage. 

Guide and Support Dogs Welcome 

• We are a guide dog and assistance dog–friendly venue. 

First Aid and Staff Support 

• First-aid trained staff are on-site during all public opening hours. 

• Our team is here to help if you need assistance at any point during your visit.
