By Bus 

From Leeds City Centre: 

  • Buses 19, 19A, 40, 56, 64, 163-65 run frequently along York Road.  
  • Board from Leeds City Bus Station or stops near Eastgate. 
  • Alight at Gipton Approach B, Harehills Lane, or Compton Road stops (check specific service). 
  • Walk approx. 2–5 minutes to The Old Fire Station.

By Bike 

  • Cycle-friendly routes from the city via: 
  • A64 Cycle Superhighway, use LS9 6NL to locate us. 
  • Quiet residential streets through Burmantofts and Harehills. 
  • Bike shelter available behind the The Old Fire Station. Please bring your own lock. 

By Car 

  • Postcode for SatNav/Maps: LS9 6NL 
  • Located just off A64 York Road, near Harehills Lane and Oak Tree Drive. 
  • Look for signs for The Old Fire Station on Gipton Approach. 

Parking: 

  • Free on-site parking available for visitors (limited spaces). 
  • Additional on-street parking may be available nearby (check signage for restrictions). 
  • Dedicated accessible parking bays are available on-site, close to the main entrance. There are 2 spaces at the back of the fire station near our building, and 2 on each side at the front of The Old Fire Station as you go round the one-way system.  

EV Charging 

  • There are 5 spaces on site for EV Charging at the back of the Old Fire Station. They are ‘pay-as-you-go’ via the link displayed on the charging boxes.  

By Train (+ Bus) 

Step 1: Arrive at Leeds Train Station 

  • From the station, walk ~5 minutes to Leeds City Bus Station (via Boar Lane and Kirkgate). 

Step 2: Catch a Bus from Leeds City Bus Station 

  • Take Bus 19, 19A, 40, 56, or 64. 
  • Alight at Gipton Approach B or nearest stop (e.g. Compton Road). 

Step 3: Short Walk to Space2 

  • Walk approx. 2–5 minutes to The Old Fire Station on Gipton Approach.
