First of Many
First of Many was the launch of an ambitious strategy to place Gipton in Leeds on the visual art map within the City and the region, collaboratively creating a quirky, eye-catching outdoor installations/sculptures and accompanying co-produced art exhibition at our new home in The Old Fire Station.
Local people and school children worked alongside Artist-in-Residence Carine Brosse and Apprentice Artist, Maria Hatton from Seacroft. Both artists were also commissioned to create their own work as part of the final exhibition, alongside co-produced work and other local artist exhibits.
