The Northern Man Festival 2025, #northernmanfest #NMF25, followed on from the successful festivals that we hosted in 2019 & 2023; put on in response to the wave of public interest in men’s issues and the worrying rise in male suicide. It offers opportunities to find out more about men’s health and well-being in addition to a range of events that tap into the interests of the majority of #Leedsmen.

The Festival takes place over the course of Men’s Heath week, not just the 1 day we had in 2019; and this year, wea re able to celebrate the fact that we had partners from the Men’s Health Unlocked (MHU Network) who aided us to put on events for the benefit of #Leedsmen #menshealth

This year, there were a remarkable 18 events over the 9-day period, reaching an audience of about 3500 with over 500 men directly engaged. It was absolutely how we imagined people coming together and enjoying just that – our theme of Connect & Celebrate was perfect.

Huge thanks must go to all our Festival partners for the wide range of events that were put on free for all attendees – Walk It Ride It, The White Rose Centre, Leeds Dads, Zest & The Compton Centre, Chapel FM, The Leeds Library, Northern Snooker, GIPSIL & the Care Leaver Service at Archway, the Wellbeing Hub, Leeds Playhouse, Wykebeck Valley Day Centre,  Flamingos, Kirkgate Market and all the organisations who attended, Your Back Yard CIC, Woodhouse Moor Parkrun & Powerleague Central.
