Bob Marley Project: Come Skank Wid Eye

David Hamilton and Regeyshun Dance partnered with Space @ Bracken Edge to run a reggae-based skanking dance project for the community and held at Bracken Egde Primary School. These classes led to a performance at West Yorkshire Playhouse alongside dancers from Phoenix Dance Theatre, Northern Ballet Theatre and Northern School of Contemporary Dance.

Space2 worked with David Hamilton and Regeyshun Dance on another two shows at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Heart Beat Rhythm and Dub Wise Lik. All three of these performances bought community and professional dancers together to tell Caribbean stories.

This was the first large performance that Space2 produced at the Playhouse, since then Space2 has gone on to produce 10 more large scale performances.
